International Student and Scholar Services has created a resource page regarding the recent executive orders on immigration. The site includes a full list of UNC updates, events and info sessions held on campus, and additional information and resources.

This page, Information and Resources Regarding Executive Orders on Immigration, will be the primary hub for resources and guidance from the university regarding these orders and any subsequent changes or amendments that arise (from any governing branch).

As the site states, “While the Feb. 4 travel advisory below notes that there is a court-ordered ban on the Executive Order, nonimmigrant students and scholars from the seven countries listed in the Executive Order should not travel out of the U.S. without consulting with an immigration attorney. Ongoing litigation could again block travelers.” The seven countries listed include Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen.

Please continue to monitor these updates and corresponding campus events, and reach out to the Office of International Student and Scholar Services with any questions.
