The Center for Global Initiatives offers an array of competitive funding for global opportunities to faculty, students and staff. We are especially interested in opening access to global opportunities for individuals, groups, units and disciplines traditionally underrepresented in such intellectual pursuits.

In addition to being UNC’s institutional home of the Fulbright program, we support curriculum development, field research, international internships, conference participation, pre-dissertation travel and foreign language training. We also provide matching funds for innovative projects that expand the global work of UNC.
