The Global Take Off: Puerto Rico program provides funding for students to participate in an interactive, five-day, faculty-led trip to Puerto Rico after final exams are over in May. It is part of the Center for Global Initiatives’ Opening Access efforts to significantly increase the number of traditionally underrepresented students who have access to global opportunities. [DEADLINE] Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program allows graduating seniors, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and recent graduates to self-design a research/study project, or serve as an English Teaching Assistant in one of more than 140 countries. All applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. The Passport to Go! program provides funding for first-year or new transfer UNC students to obtain their first U.S. passport. Applications from students who otherwise would not be able to afford the cost of a passport are prioritized (read more about our Opening Access initiative here). In years past we have been able to fund all eligible applicants, so don’t hesitate to apply! Applications must be in by 11:59pm, Sunday, September 30.
