The Center for Global Initiatives hosts and co-sponsors global events and conferences across campus and in our community. Of note are our recurring events that take place throughout the year, Global Project Showcase and International Coffee Hour.

Global Project Showcase

Want to travel next summer? Looking to fund your global project? Enjoy a showcase of students’ research, experiences and travel stories from a variety of fields and global destinations.
Learn more about past international summer projects the Center for Global Initiatives has funded from the students themselves. Lunch will be provided.
- Mikayla Tencer: Management and Society major and CGI Award recipient who to taught English in a French homestay while exploring parts of Europe to get a broader global experience and a greater understanding of European culture.
- Treasure Williams: Psychology and History major who received a passport through Passport to Go! and then studied abroad in Finland
