Addressing Mental Health Challenges Among Adolescents in Guanajuato, Mexico
Elizabeth Byrum, Marci Morgenlander, Stephanie Jensen, and Emily Ashton will travel to Guanajuato, Mexico to conduct research on the mental health of local adolescents, with a specific focus on chronic stress and self-harming behaviors. The team will assess how adolescents experience stress, implement a stress-reduction program, and provide recommendations for long-term mental health support.
