Christian Charity, Dalit Activism: Missionary Narratives and Caste-based Social Justice in Late Colonial South India
Anusha Hariharan will study how missionary efforts from the United Kingdom have shaped Dalit activist organizing and mobilizing in Tamil Nadu, India since the early 20th Century. She will be travel ling to the United Kingdom to perform archival research.
