My persistent interest in education, languages, and East Asian Studies led me to apply for this program, as it weaves them all together. My intensive Korean study in country revealed the gaps in my knowledge, compelling me to return. The ETA will prepare me to make the best decision about the next step in my professional development through the year of classroom teaching experience, immersive language study, and cultural integration.
