Home in a New Place: Making Laos in Morganton, North Carolina
The Center for the Study of the American South's Spring 2016 Art @ the Center exhibit is "Home in a New Place: Making Laos in Morganton, North Carolina." Exhibition photographs depict the home, Buddhist temple, and restaurant (Asian Fusion Kitchen) of Dara Phrakousonh and her husband Danil, who immigrated from Laos to Morganton in 1994. Please join us for an opening reception at the Love House & Hutchins Forum on Friday, February 5 at 5:30 pm.
