Contextualizing Moroccan Cultural Patronage in a post-Arab Spring Environment

My research seeks to contextualize the new politics of Moroccan cultural patronage in a post-Arab Spring environment as it relates to the 2014 opening of the first National Modern and Contemporary Arts Museum in Rabat, as a means of understanding the larger conceptual framework of how art institutions are contributing to cultural development in the public sphere, the promotion of Moroccan artists, and the evaluation of art.
