Institutional Analysis of Sanitation Behavior Change Approaches in India
Vidya Venkataramanan will travel to India to conduct pre-dissertation research to assess the feasibility of conducting case studies on sanitation. Specifically, she aims to systematically analyze institutional factors--political, legal, economic and cultural--that affect sanitation behavior, and how these factors enable sanitation programs to succeed in different contexts.
