Conference Presentation Award
My abstract was accepted for an interntional conference "Psychology and the Classics," whose proceedings are almost certainly going to be published. The organized just communicated to the presenters that they have been approached already by several publishers.
Luca Grillo will travel to Leuven, Belgium to attend and present at an international and interdisciplinary conference "Psychology and the Classics: A Dialogue of Disciplines." His contribution, entitled 'Cicero's multiple uses of irony: between manuals of rhetoric and cognitive sciences,' seeks to apply the results of the research conducted by cognitive psychologists and linguists to Cicero's use of irony in an important speech delivered in 56, "On the Consular Provinces."
