Presenting a paper at a Conference on WWI in Sarajevo on "THe Impact of the Great War on the Muslim World."
Cemil Aydin will present a paper on the legacy and impact of WWI on the destinty of Muslim societies in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Aydin's paper examine how and why the WWI shaped the political map of the post-Ottoman Middle East, and became crucial in the history of the Muslims of South Asia as well.
