Carl Joseph (CJ) Alfonso will travel to the Philippines to intern in Tacloban, Philippines, an area that was heavily affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Through nutrition interventions and education, he will gain an experiential introduction to nutrition-focused public health work abroad.
