Project Heal 2014: Community-Based Health Projects
Boya Wang, a member of Project Heal, a student-run organization based out of the UNC Campus Y, will spend 29 days in Ghana, Africa with two other members teaching original courses on hygiene and dental healthcare in local schools. Boya will also be collaborating with various projects already in place through MedPLUS Connect, ABAN, and the Peace Corps.
Note: This award was made as a C.V. Starr Scholarship, prior to the merger of this opportunity into the Carolina Global Initiative Award.
