Doctors with Borders: Palestinian Physicians in Israel
Guy Shalev will travel to Israel to conduct two months of preliminary field research on Palestinian physicians in the Israeli health system. Conducting in-depth interviews with medical students, physicians and health administrators will allow him to formulate the appropriate theoretical and empirical background in preparation for his dissertation proposal and his fieldwork scheduled to begin in spring 2015.
