The June 2013 Uprising in Brazil
On Thursday, November 7th the UNControllables will be hosting a presentation by two eyewitness participants in the June 2013 uprising in Brazil. What started as a fare-strike against an increase in public transit fares generalized into a nation-wide revolt against issues so diverse that the struggle became almost illegible to those in power.
