World-renowned Spanish Golden Age literature expert, Ignacio Arellano, Professor at the Universidad de Navarra and Director of the Grupo de Investigaci€n Siglo de Oro (GRISO), will present a seminar for graduate students and interested faculty and a public lecture on Friday, November 15, 2013. The seminar will take place from 12-2pm in Toy Lounge and will center on the central methods of reading and analyzing Golden Age texts ("Estrategias de lectura de los textos del Siglo de oro: la lectura ret€rica y la conceptista"). The public lecture will address the public's reception of Golden Age staged plays ("La batalla por el aplauso en el teatro del Siglo de Oro") and will be held in Toy Lounge from 4-5:30pm, followed by a reception.
