Project Heal 2014: Community-based Health Projects

As a member of Project Heal, a student-run organization based out of the UNC Campus Y, Clifton Orcel will spend 29 days in Ghana, Africa teaching original courses on hygiene and dental healthcare in local schools. The students will also be collaborating with various projects already in place through MedPLUS Connect, ABAN, and the Peace Corps.

Note: This award was made as a Carolina Undergraduate Health Fellowship, which is no longer offered under that name. Those interested in health-related projects are now encouraged to apply to the Carolina Global Initiative Award.
