I am applying for an ETA in Turkey so that I may bring my prior experiences working with peoples from different cultural backgrounds into a classroom with Turkish students. While I have briefly studied and traveled in Turkey in the past, I would like to deepen my understanding of Turkish society and the role that Turkey plays in the Middle East. I believe working and immersing with young Turkish students will provide the most effective means of doing so.
