Integrating practice with immigrants, transmigrants, and refugees into the social work curriculum
Professor Hinson will present a workshop at the Council on Social Work Education that describes the process by which the UNC School of Social Work has implemented a graduate certificate program designed to prepare students for culturally competent practice with a growing immigrant population. Curriculum content, strategies for overcoming barriers, lessons learned, and future directions are discussed.
