Matching fund for talk on "America's Drug Wars-Just Say No" Speaking Tour with Laura Carlsen, Director of the Americas Program, Mexico City
This talk will provide context and analysis to understand why current US-supported drug war in Mexico is failing. Since its inception in 2006 , it has claimed more than 100,000 lives. Expert journalist Laura Carlsen will also discuss alternative solutions to these failed policies and seemingly intractable problem.
