China has been a place of great interest to me my entire life and I have been studying Mandarin since I began attending UNC Chapel Hill. Taiwan is also an increasingly interesting place to me and after staying in Xiamen this past summer, I have heard about and witnessed the Taiwan influences and would love to live there. Going to Taiwan and teaching would be the ultimate way to give back and embody my love for learning languages and my love for China.
