A Full Immersion into Ecuador's Health Care
Benjamin Martinez will travel to Ecuador to partake in a medical internship with the organization VenaEcuador. As an intern, he will immerse himself in the medical setting by working directly with doctors and developing skills to communicate efficiently with patients.
Note: This award was made as a Carolina Undergraduate Health Fellowship, which is no longer offered under that name. Those interested in health-related projects are now encouraged to apply to the Carolina Global Initiative Award.
