Comparative Social Work Practice: From North Carolina to Southern Mexico
I am a bi-lingual social worker who has worked with the immigrant population in NC for over 10 years. I propose a cross-cultural social work exchange to fine-tune high level professional language proficiency, and to understand social work practice in the home-country of the majority of immigrants in the US. This project will follow recent completion of my masters, and lead to further professional preparation to work with immigrants.
