Mama C: Urban Warrior in the African Bush
The Department of Women's and Gender Studies, the S. H. Stone Center for Black Culture and History, the Department of Music, and the NCSU African American Cultural Center, will host the Tanzanian artist and musician, Charlotte Hill O'Neal for an on-campus performance. The visit will coincide with the screening of a new film about Charlotte's life and work entitle "Mama C: Urban Warrior in the African Bush," produced by Joanne Hershfield, Professor and Chair of Women's and Gender Studies.
