Conference Presentation Award for K. Flanagan (Summer 2013)
Kathleen Flanagan will present a paper titled "Traders, Markets, and Affective Ties in the Copra Boom Era" at the New Zealand and the South Pacific Conference (June 27-29, 2013) at the Centre for Asian and Pacific Studies, Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands. She will also present a paper titled "Micronesian Diasporas: Voices of U.S. 'Others' in Poetry" at the British Comparative Literature Association Conference on Migration (July 8-11, 2013) at the University of Essex in Colchester, United Kingdom.
