Internship at the Centre for Tobacco Control Research
Sarah Barger will travel to Auckland, New Zealand to intern at the Centre for Tobacco Control Research in the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland as a research assistant for the AWHI-Incentives Feasibility Study. Sarah will work with women of M ori descent, the indigenous group comprising 15% of the national population, to evaluate the feasibility of a financial-based incentive intervention to increase cessation rates among pregnant M ori smokers.
