Expanding and Improving Support Programs for Pediatric HIV/AIDS Patients
Alexandra will travel to Lesotho this summer to work alongside community health workers and outreach nurses. They will develop educational HIV/AIDS curriculum and provide expanded psychosocial support programs for infected youth.
Note: This award was made as an International Internship Award, which is no longer offered under that name. Those interested in global internships are now encouraged to apply to the Carolina Global Initiative Award.
